Mountain Sports Inn offers economy, standard, and premium guest rooms, plus suites. All rooms include private bathrooms, cable TVs, telephones with answering machines, and free Wi-Fi. Standard rooms feature a variety of bed types, including rooms with three beds. Premium rooms provide more square footage and larger bathrooms. The Premium Suite is a great condo-sized unit with a queen bed and two full beds, offering a full kitchen, private bath, big flat screen, and Wi-Fi. The Deluxe Suite features six large rooms and two and a half baths. Connecting rooms are available in the Standard Suite, sleeping up to six people with two full baths, one queen bed, two twin beds, a double futon, and three TVs. Mountain Sports Inn is a four-season Vermont destination. In winter, Killington and Pico Ski Resorts are three miles away, accessible via the Killington public shuttle bus service (7:30 am to 2:00 am). Other activities include snowmobiling with professionally trained guides. During warmer months, Green Mountain National Golf Course and Killington Golf Course are within three miles. The inn is two miles from the Appalachian and Long Trails. Mountain biking and road riding are popular, with access to Green Mountain Trails, Sherburne Trails, Basecamp Trails, and Pine Hill Park trail networks. Killington provides downhill biking on five mountains. Guests can use the K-1 gondola to reach the 2nd highest peak in Vermont for mountain biking. Fishing and hunting are other options.

Located at the foot of Killington and Pico Ski Resorts on the Killington access road, Mountain Sports Inn is near Sherburne Pass (3 km), K1 Express gondola (1 km), Darkside Snowboards (1 km), Killington Arts Guild Gallery (1 km), Snowshed Lodge (4 km), Spa at The Woods (0.5 km), Gifford Woods State Park (2 km) and Kent Pond Dam (2 km). Rutland State is 30 km away.

The inn offers front desk services from 8 am to 10 pm. Ski tuning and mountain bike storage are available. A common room features maple floors and a wood stove. The dining room seats 35, serving hot breakfast from early December to late March, and continental breakfast year-round. Free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the property.
